invites you to
March for Life 2019
Vision: A world where every human life is valued and protected.
What?
The March for Life began as a small peaceful demonstration in Washington D.C. to commemorate the anniversary of Roe v. Wade and has grown over the last 45 years to become the largest pro-life rally in the world. What has followed on this somber anniversary every year since 1973 is a witness to the truth concerning the greatest human rights violation of our time, legalized abortion on demand.
On Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 7:30pm the Mid Atlantic Conference will host a special March for Life service at Maranatha Fellowship in College Park, MD.
Dinner will be served before the service at 6:00pm; please RSVP to Katie Eckenrode so we can prepare enough food for all to enjoy.
Maranatha Fellowship
3828 University Blvd
College Park MD 20740
On Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:00am we will meet at 1201 Maryland Avenue SW, Washington DC 20024 near Maryland Avenue Linear Park. Look for the traffic circle with a small park in the middle (Maryland Avenue Linear Park). Situated between Starbucks and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
Parking in DC is first come, first serve and sparse so we recommend taking the metro or catching the shuttle from Maranatha. The shuttle will leave Maranatha at 9:30am.
There will be a short outdoor service hosted by Bishop Abel beginning at 10am. From there we will walk together towards the monument to find seating and view the pre-march rally.
If you plan to travel to the Maryland/DC area and need a hotel we recommend contacting the Days Inn in College Park.
